The Zionist occupation army is continuing the war of genocide in Lebanon against the Lebanese and Palestinians; this war was designed to control the area and expand the settler colonial entity. The war has reached the suburbs of Beirut, a densely populated area south of the Lebanese capital, as fears of an imminent ground invasion grew.\u200e \u200eSeveral people were injured at dawn on Tuesday in Israeli shelling targeting the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon.\u200e \u200eAn Israeli airstrike targeted the home of Munir al-Maqdah, commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the armed arm of Fatah in Lebanon, in the Ain al-Hilweh camp in the city of Sidon, according to several reports.\u200e \u200eAccording to eyewitnesses, the shelling resulted in injuries but did not confirm that al-Muqadah had been hit. \u200e \u200e This is the first time that the Israeli army has targeted the Ain al-Hilweh camp since the start of clashes with Hezbollah on the eighth of last October.\u200e \u200eThis coincides with the \u200e\u200eIsraeli army’s announcement of the start of a ground military operation\u200e\u200e in southern Lebanon. \u200e On Monday evening, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from Israeli raids on Lebanon during the past 24 hours reached 95 martyrs and 172 wounded.\u200e \u200eSince September 23, Israel has launched the “most violent and widespread” attack on Lebanon since the start of confrontations with Hezbollah about a year ago, which resulted in at least 1,057 martyrs, including children and women, and 2,950 wounded, according to monitoring of Lebanese authorities’ data, and amid fears of a regional war. \u200e \u200e Since October 8, 2023, Lebanese and Palestinian factions in Lebanon, most notably Hezbollah, have exchanged daily bombardment with the Israeli army across the “Blue Line,” separating the separation, which resulted in a total of at least 1,896 martyrs, including children and women, and 8,9,049 wounded, according to monitoring official statements.\u200e Natenyahu’s mind, controlled by arrogance, leads the area to an immense catastrophe that befell humanity.
