Are changes possible in the United States? Editorial, July 24, 2024

Joe Biden is on his way out; the American people are witnessing an awakening due to the shameful stand of the United States’ successive administrations toward the Palestinians’ ethnic cleansing and genocide by the Zionists and their allies. Mr. Joe Biden earned the title of Mr. Genocide for the blind support of the Zionist entity and its crimes towards the Palestinians and the usurpation of Palestine. Biden supported this colonialist settler state with no limitation on money and weapons; he became a partner in crimes with Netanyahu. The American people who were duped and misled by the Zionist movement and by the press have finally discovered the truth and realized that Zionism was created in the West and by the West to be part of Western Imperialism to dominate the World; the Jews were not persecuted by the Arabs, antisemitism was created by the Ashkenazi Zionists and was practiced by the West, the Arab Jews knew that. Mr. Avi Schlaim, an Arab Jew from Iraq, says his book is chronological. And at every stage, I tell the family story against the broader background. For example, in 1948, when the war in Palestine broke out, the Jews were significantly very insecure and uneasy because they were associated with the Zionist movement. It was a period of anxiety for Iraqi Jews and for my family because Zionism gave the Jews a territorial dimension, which they didn’t have before. Until Israel was born, we were a minority in Iraq, just one minority among many — we were treated no better, but no worse, than the other minorities. And there was a long tradition of religious tolerance in Iraq. So, unlike Europe, which had a Jewish problem, Iraq did not have a Jewish issue. Nor did it have a history of antisemitism. Antisemitism is a European malady. From Europe, it was exported to the Middle East. And interestingly, there was no antisemitic literature in Arabic. So, European literature had to be translated. The awakening is spreading around the World, including in the United States, especially among the youth; the shameful stand of Joe Biden and the majority of Republicans and Democrats have revealed the domination of the Zionist influence and control of the various US administrations. The US administration became a pawn in the hands of Zionism and an accomplice in genocide in Gaza and in the West Bank. Many Americans, among them American Jews, came to realize that (Israel ) is an entity that has to be dismantled and replaced by a democratic secular state in all of Palestine. The Palestinians who were expelled from Palestine must return to Palestin, and Jews who carry dual citizenship must return to the country of their origin. Arb Jews have the same feeling; they realize that they are Arabs and not (Israelis) The solution is in the United States’ hands, but change in the United States must come first. The people must continue the struggle to put America on the right track. The first battle was won; Biden was dethroned. Rashida Tlaib was right when she said that the United States government is complicit in killing the Palestinians in Gaza and The U.S. is the largest arms exporter to Israel, the biggest funder of Israel’s military, and the only country vetoing UN resolutions for a ceasefire. We are witnessing the awakening in the United States, and we hope this process of change until the United States is free from Zionist influence and control. It is not easy; it will be a long and painful process.
