I read a fascinating article by Maruthai Ravindhiran (from Sri Lanka) in the Sunday Times titled “Positive Thinking—The Ultimate Driving Force To Reach Your Goals & Objectives in Work & Life.”
The writer discussed ” positive thinking” in many aspects. I will highlight his profound sentence: “I firmly believe that positive thinking creates energy.
Writer Maruthai Ravindhiran opened a broad debate by mentioning “energy.” Creating energy is necessary in our societies, especially during war and demanding situations.
As Palestinians, we have faced a lot of criticism and discrimination, war, labeling, and so on…only by “positive thinking” can we overcome all of these adverse effects and influences to create the “energy.”
It is necessary to support the humanitarian associations or non-governmental groups working in this field and try our best to orient children to positive thinking by promoting educational and developmental classes at schools and activities. Governments should also take action.
In addition, we cannot avoid problems from parents toward their kids sometimes. That’s why adults and parents should be aware of controlling their issues (economics, stress, etc.) in front of children.
When we say “Positive Thinking,” that doesn’t mean that we are talking only about an individual but also about a society that needs continuous repair, the same as the maintenance of any device we have.
The difference is that society is built on humans, whereas devices are only tangible machines. Humans have both tangible and intangible attributes, and the intangible ones can significantly impact each person’s behavior.
As a result, our society needs hard work and changing behavior. After all, working on creating “Positive Thinking” will lead us to produce energy, which is the most crucial element of productivity.
“Positive Thinking is crucial for success.
