Darfur – Sudan By Abdulsalam Taleb

Translated from Arabic by Ibrahim Ebeid

 Darfur – Sudan.
By Abdulsalam Taleb
–
‎Darfur is named after “Dar al-Fur,” which means “land of al-fur.” The Fur are a large tribe that ruled the Islamic Sultanate of Darfur.‎
‎Darfur is equivalent to a third of Sudan’s area, covering 511,000 square kilometers —roughly the area of France. It is considered the richest spot on earth, and the conflict over it was in the past. The governor of Darfur at the time of the Ottoman rule took care of Mecca, the Kaaba, and Ali’s wells, after Ali bin Dinar al-Sudani in 1898 AD.‎
‎What the Arabs do not know about Darfur:‎
‎1- Jabal Marra is located in it:‎
‎It is one of the wonders of the world; it is 165 km long and 65-80 km wide. It is a great mountain in which the four seasons are successive at the same time, it is 10 thousand feet above sea level, and its area is equal to the size of Lebanon. It has springs, rivers, and various types of crops, and this mountain can be the greatest tourist project on earth, as it is a mountain the size of a country.‎
‎One of the Sudanese scientists who was part of the British committee told me they discovered a mercury river inside it, and to this day, no one has found it.‎
‎Is Jabal Murrah Jabal al-Tur?‎
‎There is a historical and religious dimension in Jabal Marra, as the researcher of ancient history and Sudanese heritage Abbas Ahmed Al-Hajj says that “the two versions of the Torah in 1817 and 1830 mention that Aaron, the brother of the Prophet Moses, peace be upon him, died in Jabal (Hur) near Wadi Hur, which led some historians to believe that Jabal Marra is the holy Jabal al-Tur.‎
‎But this information is unproven and inaccurate.‎
‎2- The Copper Pit:‎
‎Some of the English reminded me, and I read in their memoirs in 1953, “We, Great Britain, if we had only the copper pit of Darfur, Britain would have remained a great power for 500 years.”‎
‎South Darfur has about 5 billion tons of copper, along with other minerals and gold.‎
‎3- Jabal Amer, uranium and guarding Darfur:‎
‎In Darfur, many uranium mines have about 6 million tons of uranium, and there, according to my neighbor, who lived next door in the capital, Khartoum. He belongs to the United Nations, he literally said, “We are employees scattered on sites in Darfur, we number about 100,000. Imagine I said What is your mission? ‘ he said. In letters, the first task is to guard Darfur and its mines. The hadith took place in 2000 AD, a quarter of a century ago.‎
‎After that, I discovered many gold, uranium, iron, titanium, lead, and cobalt mines in Sudan and Darfur.‎
‎One of the most important things we discovered in 2010 was Jabal Amer in Darfur, which contains about 3,000 metric tons of gold, from which 150 kg were produced daily. This story will be told to you in another chapter.‎
‎4- Petroleum:‎
‎Darfur is the world’s richest oil region, where the two great reservoirs intersect in the shape of an X.‎
‎The basin, which extends from Russia through Iran, then the Gulf, enters the Red Sea and Sudan, empties into the central Darfur point, and then intersects with the Nigerien basin to form the largest oil basin in the world.‎
‎This is a program broadcast by Al-Jazeera about 27 years ago, and they permanently deleted it after that because it revealed one of Sudan’s most dangerous secrets.‎
‎5- Water:‎
‎Darfur is bordered by the world’s largest water reservoir, the Nubian Basin. I have read about it in the special files of Sudan, research has stated that this reservoir can be used by Sudan and its people, agriculture and animals (140 million heads) for 500 years if the rains in the sky stop, the springs of the earth dry up, and the water from the Nile is cut off, so imagine, may God have mercy on you.‎
‎This basin extends into Darfur and several states in parts of it.‎
‎6- Jabal Amer and gold:‎
‎It has a story to tell you and history. Still, in another chapter, Jabal Amer is a small mountain in the center of Darfur that contains about 3000 tons of gold, and I was the first to report this using satellite imagery in 2010 AD. The. I. Still, in Jabal Amer, a Council was formed by 100 personalities from tribes and the government, and the story is long, the last of which was the Rapid Support Group’s control of this mountain in 2014, and its annual production reached more than 40 tons of gold.‎
‎7- Diamonds and rare metals:‎
‎Darfur is considered a region rich in diamonds, precious stones, rare metals, zinc, gold, silver, lead, copper, and other minerals, and I have many samples, including meteorites and iron ore with very high percentages.‎
‎8- Livestock: It is great to the extent that it is ten times more than the population.‎
‎At last:‎
‎In 1994, a map of Sudan was drawn up, dividing it into 5 countries, from which the south was divided in 2005. This was due to the naivety of the Sudanese Islamic Movement, and this is another story. We will tell you. They. It decided to separate Darfur as a third country after the south, and all the events of Darfur in the past, and the genocide that took place in them, and what is happening today is part of the partition plan.‎
‎Sudan is the unknown‎
‎We will tell stories and discoveries over the course of a quarter of a century that have eaten away at us, our youth, and our ambition, and perhaps future generations will have mercy on us and remember our works.‎
