Many of my friends and colleagues who dedicated their lives to the struggle for Justice, liberation, and freedom have passed, among them was Dr. Youssef Maki from Arabia. He was a thinker, a writer, and a struggler in the ranks of the Arab Nationalist Movement. I have known him since the seventies of the last Century. He passed on Christmas Day of 2025.

Dr Youssef Makki has contributed many articles to enlighten the World about Palestine and other causes of justice worldwide. He was a constant contributor to Saww Oroba.

His loss is considered significant to the cause; he was well aware of the situation of the oppressed around the World, and of ours in the Arab Nationalist Forum and in Sawt Oroba. His legacy will be with us, and we will always cherish his memory. He will be an inspiration to us and to all who knew him to continue the struggle for freedom, justice, and liberation. Dr. Youssef Maki, we assure you that Palestine will be free from the River to the Sea.
