Baath National Leadership: Statement on the Arab Situation.

Baath National Leadership: Statement on the Arab Situation.
In the face of the emerging solutions for the redistribution of international and regional centers of influence:
To restore the Palestinian cause to the heart of Arab nationalist discourse.
And to form an attractive national center to fill the vacuum and reduce the bullying of foreigners.
The National Leadership of the Arab Socialist Baath Party considered that the US-Iranian Memorandum of Understanding is a framework for negotiation imposed by American necessities and an Iranian need, and that the US strategy works to contain the role of the Iranian regime within the limits of what it plans to form a new regional order, and called for the restoration of the Palestinian issue at the heart of the national discourse, and not to bet on differences between the United States and the Zionist entity, and that democracy in Arab political life is a necessity for activating the project of resistance to the occupation as well as a necessity for bringing about national democratic change. This came in a statement by the National Leadership as follows:
Forty days after the military confrontation between the Zionist-American alliance and Iran and the fragile truce that followed and extended to 60 days, the US administration and the Iranian regime, with Pakistani mediation and Qatari participation, reached a framework agreement that draws a roadmap for negotiations between the two parties and reached an agreement on the issues that caused the explosion of the military situation on a large scale, starting with the nuclear file and the additional factors that occurred, the most important of which are those related to the Strait of Hormuz and the repercussions of the disruption of navigation in it due to the closure and blockade on a smooth flow Global trade, especially those related to energy, oil and gas. The issue of the Strait of Hormuz has gained exceptional importance as it constitutes a point of attraction and a sharp blow to the military reality after the cessation of aerial, missile, and drone bombardments, from which the Arab Gulf countries, which received more from Iranian raids than the Zionist entity and American bases, were spared. While the large-scale military operations have stopped and the round of political negotiations has begun based on the headings contained in the memorandum of understanding, starting with the nuclear file, it is still too early to judge the political results of the US-Iran negotiations, with the participation of Pakistan as a political mediator and Qatar as a backbone for financial mediation.
First:
The US-Iran memorandum of understanding is a framework for negotiations that is intended to lead to an agreement between the two parties. This agreement will be governed primarily by the interests of its parties. Those who consider themselves to be victorious will not retreat to their national interior, but will strengthen their positions with the consent of the other party and in what they consider to be a vital area for their expansionist project, which is the Arab space in the geopolitical map, in which the large-scale military confrontation has taken place. If the American need dictated reaching the rules of understanding with Iran, to ease the pressure on energy prices with all their economic and living repercussions, especially at home in the United States and the approach of the midterm congressional elections, the Iranian need was more urgent given the size of the economic bottlenecks and the imbalances that the authoritarian security and military structure was exposed to, and the impact of this on the Iranian interior, which is mainly burdened with a package of problems that the regime could not overcome in light of economic sanctions. Therefore, the priority was to address the problem that resulted from the closure of the Strait of Hormuz on the one hand and the American blockade of Iranian ports on the other. We’ve moved the remaining headlines that triggered the situation to the negotiations, which were initially set at 60 days.
Secondly:
What prompts this dimension to be confirmed is that the memorandum of understanding, which did not mention Palestine, even as a reference to it, kept its titles within the framework of fluid generalities to give its parties a wider scope for maneuver and different interpretations on issues that remained ambiguous, including long-range missiles and arms linked to Iran’s direct control and guidance center.
To the extent that this reflects the reality of the American position on this issue, it has revealed the truth of the Iranian regime’s position on the Palestinian issue, in which it has invested for a long time in the service of its project agenda in the national depths.
This absence of the Palestinian issue as a pivotal issue from files related to the general situation in the region falls within the context of the American strategy, which adopted the rationale of the Zionist position in everything related to this issue and drew its own path under the name of the “Peace Council”, which simulates the American vision to form a regional system based on the ruins of the Arab system after the overthrow of its centers of gravity, and based on the stability of the American position towards Iran, which is based mainly on the need to contain it within the framework of the American strategy, whatever its nature. The carrot that America has thrown at the Iranian regime is to subjugate it and maintain its role within the limits of what is defined by the United States at the regional level and at the level of some Arab arenas in which its regime has infiltrated.
Third:
The Arabs, whose role in the actual political movement is marginalized and whose space was the scene of military operations with the focused and deliberate targeting of economic and vital facilities, remained virtually absent from the preparations for the negotiations, except for a secondary role for Qatar, as it is concerned with the executive measures related to the monetization of frozen Iranian funds. These challenges, which are embodied in the marginalization of the Arab presence to redraw the map of influence in a region where the Arab world occupies its main basin, make the nation within the circle of targeting hostile to its security at the level of the national whole, as well as at the level of the national security of its countries, whose data is being used to send mutual messages and improve the negotiating papers within the framework of the deal The most comprehensive program that targets the nation with its national security and without paying attention to the negative repercussions on the national reality of these countries, and Lebanon and Iraq as a model.
The national leadership of the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party, which has already defined a clear position on the dimensions of the large-scale military confrontation between the United States and the Zionist entity on the one hand, and the Iranian regime on the other, as a confrontation between conflicting projects over the size of influence and roles, believes that the Arab nation is today on the verge of entering a pivotal stage in its contemporary history. They either regain the lead, especially in their inter-country relations and in their relations with international and regional bodies, to prove their existence and defend their options, or they tend to join more international and regional reporting centers.
Accordingly, the national leadership of the party, which is well aware of the extent of the capabilities and capabilities that the nation possesses if it is activated and coordinated within the framework of a comprehensive Arab project that is based on the basic axioms that the Arab masses have yearned for since its political awareness has been opened to its national and national issues with all their economic and social contents, believes that the price paid by the nation in confronting and confronting hostile projects is the Zionist project, which is the most dangerous, the American imperialism, which is the most comprehensive, and the Persian, which is the most evil, as well as the Turkish and Ethiopian projects. The water security portal remains less than the cost it would incur if it were completely dropped and contained within the framework of these projects that threaten the Arab world from within and at its entrances.
Therefore, the correct and practical approach to confronting the existential dangers that threaten the nation lies in getting out of the circle of gray positions that have no taste and color, and entering the circle of clear positions on which to launch the project of comprehensive national confrontation.
Accordingly, the national leadership of the party, while aware of the size of the forces that oppose the nation, considers that if the nation did not possess the capabilities and advantages of its geopolitical position and store in itself a historical momentum that makes it a nation capable of rising and rising, the fan of international and regional powers that are fighting among themselves for interests and converging against them would not have united against it. Accordingly, the national leadership of the party, while calling for the launch of the comprehensive confrontation project, considers that any confrontation with a comprehensive national dimension can only be achieved by reconsidering the position of the Palestinian cause as a central issue of the nation and translating this into the mechanisms of the nation’s political and struggle work at the popular and official levels.
This is insofar as it constitutes a response to the attempts to overthrow this issue as a national issue, the right to self-determination, and the protection of the identity of Palestinian nationalism; it is also a response to attempts to remove it from the core of the national discourse and deprive it of its national incubator, especially at the popular level. From Palestine, the establishment of the project of colonial domination over the Arab nation began, and from there, the establishment of the comprehensive liberation project began.
Palestine has been and will remain a national issue for the Arab nation, regardless of the positions of some of the official Arab regimes. Because it is, US imperialism deliberately eliminates any influential Arab role in the security and political arrangements that are drawn up related to the management of the affairs of the Palestinians under occupation. As is the case with the Arab nation.
This necessitates reaffirming the constants that govern the nature of the conflict with the Zionist project in all its dimensions, alliances, and international and regional intersections, based on:
First, the totalitarian conflict with the Zionist project will continue as long as the Zionist occupation of Palestine remains in existence with all its expansion. It is a conflict that is governed by its existential nature, which the enemy has come to include under this title also after the aggression on Gaza, Lebanon and Syria, and the imposition of security or political arrangements at a certain moment due to the prevailing balances, does not lose the historical right of the people of Palestine to their land or their right to resist the occupation, which is the right preserved by international conventions for every people struggling for independence and the right to self-determination.
Second, the emergence of distinctions in political positions between the Zionist entity and its colonial incubator, which is embodied today in the deep state in America, should not lead the nation into the illusion that there is a fundamental contradiction between the relationship between America and Israel.
What is constant is the organic alliance between them, based on the functional role played by the Zionist entity in the service of the savage capitalist project, which draws a ceiling for the American position regarding the Arab-Zionist conflict, and the variable is the circumstance of political differences dictated by private calculations that are not related to strategic contexts.
Therefore, Israel’s security is one of the constants of the American strategy, and that without the absolute American support, the enemy would not have escalated its aggression, expansion, and committed war crimes and crimes against humanity that reached the level of a war of extermination in what was subjected to Gaza, then Syria and Lebanon, and without its legal and political accountability finding its way to implementation because of the American position, which adopts the rationale of the Zionist position in all its dimensions.
Thirdly, the national leadership of the party, which considers that Arab arenas have endured more than they can bear, especially Palestine, which is still vulnerable to the continuous Zionist aggression, as well as Lebanon and Iraq, believes that this permissibility of these arenas would not have reached the level of the national political, economic, living and life reality that is difficult, if it were not for the internal political fission that prevented the level of achieving Palestinian unity based on a political program that faces the challenges of the occupation and the escalation of aggression, and the challenge of Managing Palestinian affairs inside the occupied territories and in the Diaspora.
This fission is what weakened the structure of the Lebanese national state and prevented the restoration of its role in imposing its sovereignty over the entire national territory due to internal intractances, most notably the tensions over the issue of the exclusivity of arms, as well as the crystallization of a unified position on the management of the conflict with the Zionist enemy, which in its aggression evoked the scene of the comprehensive destruction of Gaza, which led to the sweeping away of entire towns and villages, and pushed hundreds of thousands to displace under extremely harsh social and living conditions.
For this reason, the Arab nation, whose official regime has resigned and some of which has the potential to launch an Arab political initiative to curb the foreign permissibility of the national arena, has already left Iraq after its occupation as a prey to share influence between the United States and Iran, and turned its back on it so that its regime, which is run by the American occupation, turned into a political process produced by the American occupation and contained by the Iranian regime into a poisoned dagger in the Arab body. Its last resort is to use its territory as a platform to launch aggressive military operations, missiles, and drones against some of the Arab Gulf countries. It is absolutely unacceptable that this official regime, especially its capable countries, should stand idly by and be unable to launch political initiatives towards arenas that are vulnerable to occupation, international and regional burdening, and to trade influence within the framework of projects that draw the boundaries of regional and international influence and interests in the Arab national sphere.
Accordingly, the national leadership of the party, which has already stressed the need to activate the joint Arab defense agreement, reaffirms this issue to limit the presence of foreign bases on Arab soil, eliminate them completely, and enable the nation to defend itself with its own forces. Shrapnel inside.
It also stresses the need for unity in the Arab-Gulf position on the conflict of global and regional powers, to draw a future roadmap based on unifying Arab national security, economic, food, and logistical integration, and warns that the disparity and disagreements over this position will keep the climate ripe for the continuation of hostile international and regional breakthroughs.
The party’s national leadership, while recording this shortcoming in the role of the official Arab system, does not absolve the Arab popular forces of their responsibilities regarding the dangers to which the nation is exposed, and they appear to be below the required level of mobility that restores the Arab street’s credibility and presence in supporting the nation’s causes and national projects, whether related to supporting the act of resistance to the Zionist occupation in Palestine, Lebanon and every other occupied Arab land, or related to the mechanisms of the democratic struggle for political change and the establishment of a state Civil citizenship on the basis of equality of rights and duties is the common national and popular demand in all arenas that suffer from structural crises, such as the case of Sudan, to name a few, and those that face widespread corruption, authoritarian quotas, and the sectarianization of political and societal life, such as Iraq, Lebanon, and other Arab arenas.
The national leadership of the Party, while emphasizing the role of the Arab masses as a watchdog and accountant for authoritarian performance, and its role in providing a warm embrace to the issues of the Arab struggle, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, calls for giving the issue of democracy the importance it deserves in Arab political and societal life, and stresses the importance of always resorting to principled positions in approaching vital issues, especially those related to the issues of liberation and resistance to the occupation, and not to make free concessions under the pressure of emergency circumstances imposed by the imbalances of power that remain It is a circumstantial situation that can change with a change in its data, which dictates not to submit to obligations that grant privileges to those who have upset the balance of power in their favor at the expense of inalienable rights, especially those related to national issues, including the right to self-determination and the right to citizenship with all the rights and obligations attached to it.
Glory and eternity to the martyrs of the nation on the path of liberation and change, shame and shame to the traitors, conspirators, and to those who normalize or call for normalizing relations with the Zionist entity.
Long live Palestine, long live the Arab nation.
