  • ‎Liberating Yemen is a national step toward restoring the State and ending the coup.‎

‎The events in Yemen reflect the dawn after complete darkness and represent a national step in the right direction towards restoring the State and its institutions, and consolidating the legal status of the State on the way to eliminating the Houthi rebellion, which confiscated the right of Yemenis to live in dignity and further tore apart the country and its social fabric, and cut off the Persian hand in Yemen, which encroached on the sovereignty of many countries of the Arab nation, sowed terrorism, threatened and violated Arab national security.‎

‎Confronting the rebellion and restoring the republic is not only a military battle but also a national, humanitarian, and moral battle to defend the State, the republic, Arab unity and identity, and to safeguard the right of the Yemeni people to security, freedom, and a decent life.‎

‎The Yemeni people, their armed forces, and their Arab brothers are fighting the third battle of Al-Qadisiyah, a sacred, fateful battle and, at the same time, a battle on behalf of the world. This battle, which coincides with the anniversary of the October 1963 Revolution and the October 1973 battle, comes as a brave extension of them, and of all the nation’s battles in the first and second Qadisiyah.‎

‎The current stage requires unifying the national ranks, standing behind the armed forces and security services, supporting every effort aimed at restoring State institutions, ending the coup d’état, extending the sovereignty of the republic over the entire national territory, maintaining internal security, tracking down sleeper cells and reporting them to the competent authorities of the State, and respecting the constitution and the law.‎

‎The importance of eliminating the Houthi rebellion lies in achieving stability at the national, regional, and international levels, especially at the following levels:‎

‎First: The National Political Level and Internal Stability ‎

‎This includes:‎

‎ Ending the humanitarian crisis, which is the worst in the world. It also halts militia incursions and ongoing abuses against civilians, including the siege of cities, the blockade of major roads, and the recruitment and deployment of children to the front lines. It also contributes to achieving national reconciliation by launching an inclusive political dialogue without imposing the power of armed militias.‎

‎Restoring the legitimacy and institutions of the State, defeating the coup, and restoring the internationally recognized government mean reactivating the besieged ministries and sovereign institutions, restoring State institutions, and extending their influence, which leads to the reactivation of service, educational, and judicial institutions to play their role in serving the people in Yemen. It also allows for reconstruction, economic recovery, directing financial returns for the benefit of the Yemeni people, and starting sustainable development projects‎

‎Preserving the unity of Yemen, where the elimination of the insurgency prevents the fragmentation of the country and attempts to impose a sectarian and regional fait accompli, all of which leads to the unification of the Yemeni ranks and the dissolution of tribal and regional divisions under the banner of a unified military and political doctrine that unites the army, tribes, and people.‎

‎Second: Strategic Dimensions and Regional Security ‎

‎Eliminating the Houthi insurgency ensures the limitation of Iran’s regional influence because it cuts off one of Iran’s most important arms in the Arab world, which contributes to reducing the policy of regional destabilization, as this cuts off military supply lines and the smuggling of weapons from Tehran, which prevents the entrenchment of the presence of local proxies that threaten Arab national security. Especially in the field of stopping rocket attacks and drones targeting civilian and economic facilities in Arab countries. ‎

‎Third: Economic Security and Freedom of International Navigation‎

‎Securing international navigation has direct strategic repercussions on Yemen, the Arab world, and the world. Securing the Bab al-Mandeb Strait ensures the safety of global trade and energy supplies passing through the Red Sea, thereby stabilizing shipping and insurance prices and benefiting the national, Arab, and international economies. Securing international navigation is critical to ensure ship safety and the freedom of global trade through the Bab al-Mandeb Strait and the southern Red Sea, and to prevent the region from becoming a point of contention, as the Strait of Hormuz has been.‎

‎This step towards restoring the State and its institutions means restoring the Arab nation’s right in Yemen to live in dignity and achieve sovereignty, so that it can continue its path towards the renaissance it deserves and Yemen can return to being a fundamental pillar of Arab national security.
