Elections Under the Guns are No Solution

A Palestinian state in a small portion of Palestine is no solution; it is rather an endorsement of the occupation of Palestine by the Zionist Imperialist West. It is a validation of the Zionist and Imperialist schemes against the Arab nation. The defeatists who are behind the attempts to find such a solution are not to be trusted and they in no way represent the Palestinian people. The Palestinians did not fight against the foreign entity in their midst in vain. The total liberation of Palestine is the aim and they consider that a mini-state does not have the qualifications to be independent and liberated. The mini-state will negate the historical rights of the Palestinians to their historic land. It will force the entire area of the Arab homeland to change its character and become Middle Eastern nations fragmented and divided, weak and permanently under foreign domination.
The struggle for liberation must continue based on the Palestine national charter that the defeatists scrapped. Our people rightly believe that the more we struggle and the more we sacrifice the closer we will be to achieving the liberation of Palestine and the closer to realizing the return of our dispersed people to their land from which they were expelled in 1948.
“Democratization” of Palestine by electing a new president and government body under occupation is not legitimate especially when the process ignores the millions of Palestinians who live in refugee camps outside of Palestine and the Palestinians scattered around the world in forced exile. This election is an attempt to suppress the Palestinians further and deprive them of the right to continue the struggle to liberate their land and establish their state in historic Palestine that stretches from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River.
A revolutionary solution for the problem of Palestine was made decades ago when the Palestinians resorted to armed struggle to rescue Palestine and preserve its Arab character. Our people adopted this solution and thousands sacrificed their lives and watered our soil with blood to achieve this noble cause. The Arab nation knows very well that the Arab governments are not concerned with following the revolutionary path because the liberation of Palestine means the end of their rule and the end of their regimes to be replaced by a united Arab nation with one state that comprises the millions of Arabs that stretch from Iraq and the Arabian Gulf to the Atlantic Ocean, to Morocco and Mauritania.
Of course, the revolutionary solution does not please the Imperialist and Zionist powers that want the Arabs to be fragmented, divided, and weak under their domination.
The defeatists of the Palestine authority who scrapped the Palestinian Charter are part of the US Zionist process, they are not concerned with following the revolutionary path, they chose to be part of the “New Middle East” in which the Zionist entity is accepted to be the settler colonialist dominant power that represents American Imperialist interest in the area.
The Arafat era must be abandoned and not allowed to continue, it is based on false promises that led to the complete surrender of Palestine, the Oslo, Madrid, and other accords accommodate the Zionist entity and legitimize the occupation of Palestine and leave us as a dispersed “nation”. We need leaders who are born out of the revolutionary struggle and are willing and able to carry the struggle to the end. We need leaders who are dedicated to the cause and who believe that Palestine is between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River Free and Arab forever.
The Palestinian cause today faces the last act, in which are unfolded projects for liquidation conceived by the Imperialist, Zionist, and reactionary alliance. For this reason, the US Zionist Imperialism came up with the idea of the “democratic” election in Palestine and in Iraq. The unholy alliance of US Imperialism with Zionism is camouflaging their hostilities and aggression with this new face of “democracy” under the gun to elect men to represent them in both Iraq and Palestine. The candidates are the choice of Washington and Tel Aviv under their control and domination and are willing to sabotage the progress that the Resistance in Palestine and Iraq are achieving. The selection of Allawi in Iraq and Abu Mazen in Palestine is a necessity to achieve the Imperialist schemes in the Arab area.
The United States declared that it would put more than 35,000 troops in the city of Baghdad in order to force the selection of its candidates against the will of the Iraqi people. However, the Iraqi Resistance is showing more strength and gaining more popular support. The liberation operations across the land of Iraq are more numerous and more effective than ever. The Resistance in Palestine and in Iraq is determined to win the war of liberation. Imperialism and Zionism will be defeated at the gates of Jerusalem and Baghdad. Victory will be sooner than most of us expect. The Arab people will trash the rulers who were enforced upon them and surrender to Zionism and Imperialism. The liberation and unification of the Arab land will be achieved.
