Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, said that the United States has imposed restrictions on the visa granted to Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki, preventing him from speaking to the media, the Palestinian minister remained silent during a press conference of the foreign ministers of the Arab Islamic group.

The Saudi minister’s statement came during the group’s conference in Washington, after a series of meetings of foreign ministers with US officials and members of Congress to discuss the war in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Maliki did not speak at all during the press conference, and when an American journalist asked a question to al-Maliki, the Saudi minister responded on his behalf, saying that the United States had imposed restrictions on his visa, and therefore he would not be able to answer, and that he would be responsible for answering.
