Why are these numbers of citizens executed under pretexts and under terms and arguments, most of which are based on foundations that have nothing to do with reality and are flimsy, as is the world wide web? The rate of executions and deaths in custody over the past 20 years is very high, with one person executed every two days. There are also 8,000 people sentenced to death in our country out of 28,000 death row in the whole world.
All those who were sentenced to death under the pretext of crimes of terrorism and a secret informant are (Sunni Arabs), so where are the fair trials that include them, and where are the humanitarian provisions? Some are women, and the charges are varied!
Sarah Watson, a human rights activist at Human Rights Watch and executive director of the Middle East Division, said these are unfair prosecutions, not legal. We left the ruling, so do you accept what is happening and others after Iraq was in an era when the law was the state’s master and justice was Sharia after the rule of God Almighty.
As for the issue of the trial of children, it is another matter, and the arrest of women because of a brother, son, grandson, or husband is entirely illegal.
Nor are they the customs of the Arabs, so have they proven by what they are doing that they do not belong to the Arabs nationally. To those who belong and listen, rulers of our nation, to pay attention here we see the title of the top of the twenty lean years, which is the new Iraq, so is it new with its justice? Of course, no, there is no justice, and is it new with its robust infrastructure? Indeed, not the old structures are the ones on whose ground the homeland stands now. Is it new in luxury? There is no luxury except for them and nothing for the people except theft, looting, harm, back, and damage.
Now, 35 lists have emerged that have been submitted to the presidency to ratify their execution. The number is close to 200 people, and they are different. It is about proving loyalty to Iran through what is happening. They are Iraqis, and their lives are valuable to every honest citizen, especially since the number is not average. This is a clarification for the Western world.
Is that true, and are the charges varied and include women who have permitted to do so? It is not related to a specific matter, as is said to the world, but was the matter orchestrated by night?
Here, we ask you to look at the Iraqis with mercy and justice, and we stress justice; as political and media activists, writers, or owners of a stand with the truth, even with a word, we direct and draw global attention to what is happening.
The slightest thing is to do something, and if we do not strengthen, we have dropped the sin from ourselves, our conscience has relaxed even a little, and we have established the argument against those who have imposed on the necks of the homeland and the nation.
