The Zionist occupation army is continuing the war of genocide in Lebanon against the Lebanese and Palestinians; this war was designed to control the area and expand the settler colonial entity. The war has reached the suburbs of Beirut, a densely populated area south of the Lebanese capital, as fears of an imminent ground invasion grew. Several people were injured at dawn on Tuesday in Israeli shelling targeting the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon. An Israeli airstrike targeted the home of Munir al-Maqdah, commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the armed arm of Fatah in Lebanon, in the Ain al-Hilweh camp in the city of Sidon, according to several reports. According to eyewitnesses, the shelling resulted in injuries but did not confirm that al-Muqadah had been hit. This is the first time that the Israeli army has targeted the Ain al-Hilweh camp since the start of clashes with Hezbollah on the eighth of last October. This coincides with the Israeli army’s announcement of the start of a ground military operation in southern Lebanon. On Monday evening, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from Israeli raids on Lebanon during the past 24 hours reached 95 martyrs and 172 wounded. Since September 23, Israel has launched the “most violent and widespread” attack on Lebanon since the start of confrontations with Hezbollah about a year ago, which resulted in at least 1,057 martyrs, including children and women, and 2,950 wounded, according to monitoring of Lebanese authorities’ data, and amid fears of a regional war. Since October 8, 2023, Lebanese and Palestinian factions in Lebanon, most notably Hezbollah, have exchanged daily bombardment with the Israeli army across the “Blue Line,” separating the separation, which resulted in a total of at least 1,896 martyrs, including children and women, and 8,9,049 wounded, according to monitoring official statements. Unfortunately, this monster was released by President Biden and his Administration. This war is not against Hizbullah, Hamas, or the Mullah of Iran; it is against Palestine, Lebanon, and the entire area, and the people are suffering the most. Due to this criminal war launched by the Zionist entity, more than a hundred thousand refugees crossed to Syria from Balabak. The southern district of Beirut, known as the Dahiah, became in ruins, and many people are under the ruins of the building; another Gaza is in the making. The West Bank suffers the same, and the people panic and fear being transferred to Jordan or elsewhere
